Grain Patterns
Our live edge slabs are carefully selected from trees that have been harvested due to rot, disease, or age. Thanks to modern techniques, we can now preserve and revitalize these slabs, giving them a second life.
Where these once would have become firewood, they are now transformed into generational works of art that people can cherish for decades to come.
Most of our domestic species are sourced from walnut orchards in Northern California, the forests of the Pacific Northwest, or the mountains of New England.

Once you have chosen the type of table you want, I can either visit your home or office in person, or we can discuss remotely. Then will illustrate your one of a kind design, create prepare renderings for your review and draft a proposal.

We Source Materials & Begin Building
Selection
The logs selected for our tables are harvested and allowed to air dry for 2-3 years prior to being kiln dried. This natural drying process allows the tannins in the wood to gradually dissipate, resulting in the rich, contrasting colors
that are a hallmark of our furniture.
Flattening
We flatten each of our tables using a large machine called a Wood Wizz. This piece of equipment allows us to provide a better quality product, ensuring we maximize the thickness of each slab. We also go to extra lengths to ensure your table STAYS FLAT for all the generations it's passed down through
Finishing
Spray finishes are praised for their smooth, even coating resistant to scratches, moisture, and wear. Unlike oil-based finishes, spray finishes are more consistent. After the finish cures you will have a hard, protective layer that resists environmental factors like humidity & temperature changes.

Our craftsmen are empowered to make decisions based on quality, not time or cost.
While leaving small imperfections may be more economical for some shops, we are driven by our commitment to excellence, and put perfection over profitability.
Jerry personally inspects every piece before it leaves the shop.
